The RN Nat Theradon and the team were truly a gift from God. Nat answered day and night with care, pain meds, anti nausea meds, equipment, etc. what ever we needed, she came through for us. My mom and I had a very close bond and Nat was sensitive and always responded and helped me care for mom with anything within her power to provide. I felt surrounded by angels. Social worker that came out, Darlene, so sweet and so very kind. We sought the support of Orange Hospice during the most difficult transition of our lives: discontinuing chemotherapy for our mother who was battling aggressive stomach cancer. We were facing a very rapid decline in her health, and the urgency of our situation required immediate action. Orange Hospice was highly recommended to us via City Of Hope, and crucially, they offered the Korean language support that was essential for my father. The speed and professionalism of the Orange Hospice team were astonishing. From the moment we made the call, they mobilized instantly. Within hours, they had successfully orchestrated the delivery of a hospital bed, oxygen equipment, and essential medical supplies directly to our home, ensuring Mom had everything necessary for comfort. The prompt delivery of medication was also seamless. Although our mother was only in their care for a few short days—less than a week—the impact they made was profound. Every member of the team treated our mother and our entire family with unwavering dignity, respect, and kindness. They served as a constant lifeline, patiently answering our complex questions and being available for support calls and text messages at all hours, including late nights and before dawn. We are eternally grateful for Nurse Nat. She listened intently to our concerns, ensured Mom’s comfort was the absolute priority, and—even after Mom passed away—she arrived immediately to offer an immense source of calm and consolation. We had reached out to them as we were making the decision to discontinue our mother’s chemotherapy. Orange Hospice had come highly recommended to us and having a Korean speaker was important for us, so we chose to entrust Orange Hospice with our mom’s care. Everything happened very quickly for us. Our mother’s condition deteriorated so quickly, but Orange Hospice was with us each step of the way. They worked at lightning speed to bring in a hospital bed, an oxygen machine, and other medical equipment and supplies that our mom might need. Medicines were delivered quickly as well. They took the time to listen to our mom’s condition and needs, were available to us around the clock, and answered phone calls and messages even during night time and early mornings. From the very beginning, they treated our mom and our entire family with dignity, patience, and compassion. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt informed, supported, and comforted every step of the way. We are especially grateful to Ms. Park who arranged everything for us and got us registered so quickly, and Nurse Natt who always took the time to listen, answer questions, and ensure our mom was comfortable. Our mom was under Orange Hospice’s care for not even one week. When she passed, Natt came to our house immediately, and her presence was a huge source of comfort for us.
